The Chase

Inspired by the wrought-iron balconies of the French Quarter, The Chase is built in layer upon layer of hand-strung beads, wrapping the neck in intricate strands that mirror the city’s architecture. The irony is intentional: though the necklace encircles the neck in multiple layers, she remains untamed—never owned, never caught.

At the center of the design rests a solitary pearl, glowing like a light from a balcony window—soft, steady, and impossible to ignore. It anchors the movement of the piece while drawing the eye in, again and again.

Placed delicately along the side of the neck—what we lovingly call the hickey—a whisper of tiny white and maroon beads forms our Red Beans & Rice emblem. Nearly imperceptible, this intimate detail is a quiet homage to New Orleans culture, connecting every wearer through shared love of the city.
